HIGHFIELD LEVEL 3 EMERGENCY CARE FOR FIRST RESPONDER (rqf)
COURSE SUMMARY
This 5 day pre-hospital care qualification is aimed at learners working in roles where their primary or secondary focus involves giving emergency medical care as the first responder on the scene of an accident or emergency.
Roles may include security operatives, close protection officers, event medical operatives, cabin crew, community first responders and more. This is the ideal qualification for learners who need a wider level of knowledge than standard first aid at work qualifications
PRIOR TO STARTING THE CLOSE PROTECTION COURSE level 3 ecfr course has to be completed and passed prior to starting cp training. most students do both courses altogether with fsg
COURSE CONTENT
The First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC3) course covers a wide range of emergency care topics, including:
- Airway management: Techniques for managing airways in emergencies.
- Catastrophic bleeding control: Methods for controlling severe bleeding.
- Major illnesses: Understanding and managing serious illnesses.
- Administration of emergency oxygen: Techniques for administering oxygen in emergencies.
- Patient assessments: Skills for assessing patients in various emergency situations.
- Wound dressing: Techniques for dressing wounds in emergencies.
- CPR:
Basic life support techniques for cardiac arrest situations.
The course is designed to be practical and hands-on, with a balance of theory and practical training to ensure participants are well-prepared for real-life emergency situations.
